PTA

The Farragut Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is a unit of the California and National PTA. The PTA's purpose is to promote the education, health, and welfare of children and youth in home, school and community.

 

The Farragut PTA raises funds during the year through book fairs, a gift wrap sale, the Fall Festival, and various other events. With these funds, the PTA pays for educational field trips, assemblies, the Home Reading Program, and other classroom needs.

Assemblies Chair

Responsible for organizing various educational and/or cultural assemblies to add to the student curriculum. The Chair will contact potential program vendors and meet with the PTA President and school Principal to select the assemblies and assembly dates. This is a great opportunity to help increase our students’ community awareness!

Is Canva your BFF? We are looking for someone to make flyers for events, blast out info on Social Media, and organize all the info that's fit to print for our weekly Foxy Flyer newsletter.
